Could you now run startup repair at least 3 times please, rebooting between each we need to regenerate the boot cache and this should do it

It appears that the boot cache generator at C:\Windows\System32\catroot\{F750E6C3-38EE-11D1-85E5-00C04FC295EE} is badly broken, in which case the only alternative is to re-install windows.  Do you have a disc image ?  If not you will have to back up your data using something like the reatogo desktop

i had the same error, two times on a pc with 2 win7 installations, defintivly you must deinstall avast prior install the grafik card driver!!!! or later, but with trial with avast uninstall tool...

Hello, I am sorry but how to launch these programs when computer does not even boot in safe mode ?

Thank you for your help and I will open a new thread as requested when I will know how to check my computer.

Wondering the same things, I consistently see mention of saving something to the desktop,. when the title clearly indicates that we can not boot into windows either regular or safe mode, and safe mode stopping at the aswrvrt.sys file

Fully describe your problem and give us some information about your system,
what other security programs you're running and, how you removed your old Antivirus before installing Avast.
