Virus-less

  • Guest
I just upgraded both the program and virus defs from aVast 4 Home, and then got this message. Since this drive is my 'data only' drive and it would seem odd for a trojan to infect the 'system volume information' - I'm thinking this is just a false alarm due, in some way, to the way my Maxtor external back up drive processes it's backups from this drive.

Can anyone verify this for me, or one of you feel I may really have a problem here? Since the message indicates 'sign of', I'm hoping for the best! Any help from those of you more knowledgeable would be much appreciated.

So much for being 'Virus-less'!!??
