Bypass Google Phone Verification

Yeah someone in 2014 who doesn't own any kind of phone and doesn't know anybody who does. So does anybody know how can I skip the phone verification of Google? Is there any trustworthy free SMS Service on the web? I have heard of k7.net but I am not sure if I can trust that site.

If I understand correctly, you have a Gmail acct. and G00gle is asking for the phone verification?  When I get that, I just click on the back page button and then I can sign in.  Are you just trying to sign into your email acct. when you get this?  Or are you looking for a free phone server?

You don't need to give them all your personal information.  You don't even need to give them your real name or country.  Leave it blank or make something up.  Many people have multiple accounts.  You always have the option of changing this info. at a later date under your "Account," but why give out personal information if you don't have to?  They are already tracking you anyway, but you can make it harder if you use a private browsing session in your browser (that's another story).  But try what I said and see if it works.

A phone number is used for two step verification.
If you don't select 2 step, it will not ask for a phone #

Google uses two step verification and this is what it is trying to setup to prevent unauthorised access/use of your gmail account. I believe 2 step verification is now mandatory rather than an optional choice, though it is worth checking as Bob suggests.

Should the need arise to verify the account, an SMS message with a code is sent to your phone. When you receive that you enter the code in the on-line verification page, which you have already done step one of the verification.

If you haven't got a phone, I somehow doubt you will be able to sign up for a gmail account.

Some other companies and or services are also using a two step verification, so you may bump into this more often.
