How to turn off Rate Me on websites on internet explorer

How do you turn off Avasts rate me feature on internet explorer?  I'll be working and this pop up comes up on certain sites.. I cannot turn it off. I even turn Avast off and it still pops up.  When I print out something, this prints out as well, wasting paper.  It's quite annoying and I'm about to uninstall this.

Click on the green icon ( AOS ) Avast Online Protection in the top right corner of your browser and choose settings from the dropdown, untick the site checking boxes.

I think this is what your after I don't use the AOS plugin anymore so I'm unsure of any new features that might be included.

Nothing is checked under settings except Safezone, and I can't uncheck that.   What else can I do?

You can try removing the browser plugin - go to Programs and Features " remove programs " and click to uninstall avast, on the next screen choose change and you'll be presented with another screen where you can untick Browser Protection from the centre column ( everything in the centre column is optional and not needed ).
