fixed minor memory leaks in archive scanning (TAR, CAB, WINEXEC)
added support for a new compression method (ZIP)
minor enhancements in the ARC and ZOO unpackers
added error notifications for automatic updates
fixed a problem with removal of certain viruses from mail [Dumaru etc.]
changed the Standard Shield for Win9x so that now it should be compatible even with programs like LaserLock
fixed a problem in silent installation related to mail alert settings
the storage mdb file access rights are now properly reset after DB compacting
plugin for Outlook is now fully compatible with Outlook 2003
mail scanner: fixed a timeout problem related to SMTP communication

Hi Minacross,

It seems that you are checking avast! development whole days and nights ;D - remember yesterday "iAVS update ..." thread? Your description of new build is complete ;). But I can't understand the included links. It's not necessary to download the whole package and waste the bandwith of user's connection and our servers  :(.
Every user can simply click on "update program" in the About box of avast! and it'll download the incremental update only and install it. And it'll works with user with so called "broken package" too.

hi Eduard,

these links are for those that prefer to have the whole setup file as a backup, just in case.. ;)
the iAVS update is available throught the program as you mentioned, and for sure it is a lot faster  ;D ;D..
never mind, just delete the links. 8)
