Trouble with AEA after updating
« on: August 07, 2014, 11:44:29 PM »
We have attempted to update our AEA and have discovered some issues that may have already existed prior to the update process.  Hoping to get some answers here.  If this is the wrong forum, please point me in the right direction as I am very new to Avast and this forum.  We are running the AEA console on a virtual Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard SP1 server.  I updated AEA via the control panel per a post on one of the avast forums...googled and found.  Update appeared to go fine but after updating I cannot log into the AEA with any of my know users and passwords including the administrator account.  I get the message "Unable to login as administrator or connection error".  We have gone back to a previous snapshot prior to the install and are realizing that this behavior is sporadic even before the update occurs.

We are considering deleting the SQL database...will the managed workstations repopulate?  Any other suggestions about what I can do?  Has anyone else seen this?
