Same old printer problems
« on: August 18, 2014, 01:19:37 PM »
Laptop notification of "unable to communicate with printer", using an HP Network printer.  No notifications from Avast, but I note that there are many many reported issues.  I have, however, failed to find an adequate resolve.  Most of the replies are so complicated that they might as well be in machine code.  What replies I could interpret place so much burden on the poster of the question, i.e. find out this and find out that, that they become impossible to address.

Please can somebody post up a step-by-step guide for how to get network printers to work when using Avast in language that your average user can understand and action?
