I did a boot from USB rescue disk (made with Rufus), an got the attached scanlog with FRST (just like in the beginning, for what it's worth).

I tried a boot in safe mode with command prompt from HDD, but starting up blocked at ... aswRvrt.sys  :'(

I have a feeling it may be the video card that is causing all the problems, do you have onboard video ?  If so you could try removing the card and see if that allows a proper boot

Download the attached fixlist.txt to the same location as FRST
Run FRST and press fix
Then try a normal boot

OK, For the first time in my life I opened a computer. I can see the motherboard and the GPU Geforce GT 530, but I guess that is not what you mean. What should I be looking for?

I will do the fixlist now.

Yes, it is the Geforce GT530 2GB DDR3 V/D/HDMI.
But if I pull it out, I have no longer a monitor ? How can I verify the (proper) boot then?

After the fix, I tried a regular boot.
after the Windows Starting Up screen, the video input dropped out for appr 10 seconds
Then a black screen with a cursor for appr 10 minutes!
Then windows accounts screen:
Same warnings:
1. RAPVCpl64.exe: application error: cannot start application correctly (0xc0000022). Click OK to close application.
2. cannot start clear.fiMovieService.exe because DCIMAN.dll is missing on your computer. !! STILL !!
3. a problem has occurred when starting C:\Windows\system32\nvspcap64.dll. Cannot find the specified module.
4. You are a possible victim of illegal software. (Windows 7 is not validated)

I have no problem playing videos with VLC Media Player. Does that say anything about your idea on the video card?
Should I try installing drivers with Nvidia Geforce Experience again?

OK from control panel > programmes and features uninstall all Nvidia entries
Then go to control panel > device manager . display adapters and uninstall the video card by  right clicking and selecting uninstall

Reboot the computer and windows will then install the generic drivers

Once it has done that then reinstall the proper drivers for the video card

Hi,
Uninstalling any of the 7 NVIDIA entries is not possible:
every time I get this error message: Cannot find module NVI2.DLL

Download the following file to your system32 folder

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/73555776/NVI2.dll

Reboot and then try to uninstall again

I am running a checkdisk right now.
Windows has found several damaged clusters in files and has replaced them:
in file 42760 with name windows\system32\winevt\logs\securi-1.EVT
in file 292928: name CBSPER-4.cab
in file 292953: name poqexec.log
in file 292956: name werf39-1.HDM

After that I will do the NVI2.dll

I put the NVI2.dll in the system32 folder, but no succes.
I noticed in the error message that de module could not be found in C:\ProgramFiles\NVIDIA Corporation\Installer2\Installer.{A44775A2-A948-47C9-9BD5-16C35B87DE32\NVI2.DLL
So I wanted to copy the NVI2.dll in this folder. But I found out that the complete folder Installer.{A4477... was missing.
Perhaps this is due to the failure to install the new NVIDIA drivers?
I will try to run Geforce Experience again ...

Aye it has lost that folder which is required to uninstall

Try another installation and see if that adds it

I tried to open NVIDA GeForce Experience but same error message: could not find NVI... (the rest of the file name was not readable because the window was to little and could not be widened).

It looks like the operating system has suffered on different places. How many other dll's are missing...

Can this still be cured or should I consider a reinstall of Windows?
