AVAST CANT TURN ON

Hi I'm seeing a red X on a flag icon on the left side of my taskbar. it says my avast is not turned on. i try to turn it on but it wont. why? it says im registered though. please help me.

Disable windows defender and reset the action center.

anyways i am currently running a quick scan on avast and it seems to be running but it's turned off. i dont quite understand.. and im worried abt it.

i try to turn avast on in action center but it wont no matter what i do.

Hope all is well now and I don't see it again. although the installation doesnt seem to be connected to an account. i wonder if that's something i should worry about too.
