add new license to account

Hello, how do you add a recently purchased license to an existing account?  I have an old account and used the same email however when I go to manage them it says they are expired.

Insert the license in avast
Reboot (shouldn't be needed, but it doesn't hurt)
Open avast and login to your account.

That should work.
