How to get rid of annoying "continue" splash screen after update?

After updating to 2014, I now get a splash screen on boot saying "Complete your upgrade to avast 2014...." .I've clicked "continue" (after unchecking the spammy dropbox install checkbox)  - but it reappears every time.

remove with this  http://www.avast.com/en-eu/uninstall-utility
download and reinstall  https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=151290.0

Thanks, Bob. That was not checked but I was checking the box under "options" for each post.

I guess you'll now find out if checking that option made the difference.
