Thanks for the info. Will attempt it. Hopefully, I won't run into problem. This morning I tried to renew and the automated message said my email was not in their database. And yet, her I am.

Eddy, I need an offline installer. Where on the Avast site can I find it? I found a few on the web but not sure which one to take. Some say full setup at 121 MB and others say antivirus setup at 87 MB. I want the free one. Also, with all these installers, I have no clue which version I am downloading.
