 how come in avast sound has changed like if you  test it in http://www.eicar.org/anti_virus_test_file.htm
 it its says
caution there has been a vrius detected.

why?

I guess because the old "Caution. There is a virus on your computer" was not exactly true. A virus could be found and stoped before it entered the system, so it wasn't really IN the system. That would confuse and scare the user.

Yes, the virus messages changed from 'virus' to 'malware' for the same reason, not all the infections are produced by virus but by malware (adware, spyware, trojans, etc.).
