It will install on a normal installation too as it will install everything. I did a custom install but installed everything.

Got it installed "finally" applications are very slow to open, after reboot it took nearly 2 minutes for avast and other programs to start.

I've also got the Explorer NG icon on the desktop which after opening shows nothing ???

Known problems
- IE AOSP plugin has still some minor issues
- slow first start of avast! UI after first reboot after update
- minor performance problems on Win8 under heavy network traffic

NG is using VirtualBox from Oracle Corporation

First - AOS isn't installed

Secondly - slow 2 minute starts after 3 reboots

Thirdly - it's not under heavy traffic, 1 tab open.

NG is using VirtualBox as virtualization platform. Internet Explorer NG means that  this session of IE will run in virtualized NG environment.

The new avast! NG is killing my ability to use my computer. Everything works in slow motion.
Not acceptable and something that's hopefully being worked on.

Custom install included NG ( a few years in the making since the test for this :) )
Reboot time no difference noted .. still 45 seconds
No AOS Icon on IE11 toolbar although it is enabled  - Cured with second boot
Initial start on IE11 a little slow but subsequent tabs added mayhap 1 second or less
Account settings page logging out as soon as it signs in - Cured with second boot
All settings transferred with no error
Disabled hardened mode now and allowing deepscreen to get in on the act
No NG icons for IE11 (unless it now runs in that automatically)

Win 8.1 x64

Yes but it doesn't open anything, blank page as picture shows, even the favourites list is empty.

Grime Fighter Free isn't working for me (or I don't know how to use it), the main screen of GF is looking broken in Russian.
Also I can't find Internet Explorer NG on my PC, can anyone help me? (or it's not available in avast Free ?):-\

Not certain that I am understanding what exactly NG is supposed to do at this moment. The release notes show that it is available for Deepscreen now and will be available for Sandbox and Safezone in a few weeks. Then, why is there a sandbox border around your Internet Explorer showing NG?

Yes, and I see avast NG folder in C:\Program Files\AVAST Software\Avast, but I can't find Internet Explorer NG on my PC...
