If you have a 64 bit system, the message doesn't show at all.  I can only see the message on my 32 bit systems.

It also works fine on a 64bit system.  I have Windows 7 64bit (8megs RAM) and the message "Protected by avast!" appears just fine during the boot process.
Windows 10 (64bit); 8GB RAM; Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Pro; avast Free (latest version)

Sorry but I've never been able to get that display on the Win 8 64 Bit Dell that I use.
In the current beta, I can't even find the settings for it ??? I may be overlooking it ?

Ive managed to get the ng shortcuts after complete uninstalling and choosing trial in avast premier2015, now I have a securevpn issue, it wont install the driver or my licence, when installing the driver I get an error saying system cant find specified path, ive navigated to the driver in avast folder and is still same outcome, im thinking something didn't didn't get removed properly, or theres something wrong with the drivers in avast beta.

@bob3160: I hope avast team make this available on 64-bit.

@pk: Please make this available for 64-bit versions. What do you mean by variations? As long as it is English. I can live with that.

@Gandalf1369: I know it exits in 64-bit versions, but about the message i meant different message with different avast versions installed. Like for those people who have avast Free installed. Message should show this "Protected by Avast! antivirus Free. For users who have premier versions installed "Protected by Avast! Antivirus Premier. So on and so fourth  :)

It's a beta. Testing is getting out the bugs. It isn't always fun. Sometimes it's better to wait a while.

Could anybody please explain me how Home Network Security works and why does it show different results on two computers which are connected to the same network?

By the way, I'm not sure is it ok to write future requests here, but if it is possible it would be great to have touch screen scrolling. I'm not good at explanation, but this video should show what I am talking about

@ Toco  GUI>Settings>Tools>click on the "?"

As far as future requests it's too late for this time around.
After v2015 is released avast will "probably" have a "feature request" thread

An excellent job from Avast Team to bring a new feature called Home Network Security to all of it's Avast products that detects the user's home internet router/modem and connections making sure it's secured. In this DNA age every security products should have this. Couple of weeks ago here in New Zealand had a massive DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) Attack that came from all over overseas. Bottom line an ISP company blamed customers who didn't have up-to-date modem (old 3rd party modems) that the attackers had gained easy access to their modem and installed malicious softwares and etc malwares without the user's knowledge along with out-dated antimalware security software they had in their computers and the malicious software and malwares had distributed throughout the ISP network. Causing slow connections/ no connections to all customers. This continued for around 1 1/2 weeks. Currently everything is ok now!

Thanks you heaps Avast for bringing up this new feature  :)
