Can't retrieve contacts from old phone to new phone

I changed phones and now cannot restore my 60+ contacts from the backed up cloud. I installed Avast Backup on new phone and did Restore All. The only contacts coming across are just 9 contacts I have in my Google email account, but not the 60+ that are in Avast Backup cloud.  When I enter Avast Mobile Backup, it doesn't ask me for my account email and password; shouldn't that be the way to connect to my cloud data? What am I missing?

Hello, there was a little service outage on Google Drive which can cause such a problem - does it work now or the problem persists?

I can't believe the idiot post from Avast.  Thanks for the report anyway????

None of us can restore to our phone if we reset it and reinstalled the app.  Don't they get that?

Well, idiot post - may be you should check the news from Google before you start to offend anynody. Please use the support link for the report, seems to be too idiotic for the response.
