Hi folks,
New here at this board so bear with me. After I do scan I get all this stuff about java soft  program is un scanable. Any help would be appreciated.

That is 100% normal. No need to worry at all... Those files that can not be scanned, are encrypted or password protected files. avast! antivirus, just like any other antiviruse tools out there, can't scan encrypted or password protected files if it doesn't know the encryption method or actual passwords. Just ignore that info...

There are many threads already started on this subject, and Search feature in this forum (button up there) could have helped you a lot faster than waiting for someone to answer on this one... just a constructive comment  ;)

Could be a lot of reasons...
Can you post the name and the path of the files?
The message say it is impossible to scan, password protected... What does the message (log/report) say?
