I actually miss DOS..     I knew it well and went kicking and screaming into installing Windows

Alas, still no mention (unless I missed it) of how to get set up for games using AdLib for music.  Most modern cards and/or controllers, even though otherwise Soundblaster-Pro compatible, totally ignore AdLib.

And as for memory managers, I devoutly stuck with QEMM and still think it could run circles around the competition, especially if you made use of its Manifest utility which made excellent suggestions for changing inclusions/exclusions.

Remeber that Windows Vista won't allow 16bits (DOS) applications anymore  :P

 I love playing round in the dark world of DOS. Wasn't that much fun during Dos Exams back when studying for my degree in Comp.Engineering ( Stress ) :P
I've got an old 100Mhz 486 which I've been threatening to have purely for DOS . My Son likes playing  all  those old DOS games from the early to mid 90's . Have to have a look at this .
