Avast free scanner for workstations no more.

I was a keen user of the avast4linuxworkstations scanner for over a few years.

As there's no 'official' thread that the installion won't update, or to put it exaclty, scan, I thought best to dredge up some info for anyone mislead by existing info online.

However the avast! linux products will not be free products. There are some ancient avast 4 based
free linux products out there, but in general they are no more supported or maintained and the virus
definitions (VPS) updates for them will be soon dropped.
