« on: October 05, 2014, 12:51:06 AM »
I added avast internet security to my computer and everytime I turn my computer on I get a warning box telling me C:\windows\system32\LogoLDA.dll  What do I do to correct this?

Hi Priscilla4. Welcome to avast! Forums.

Is that a typo ? there is nothing in avast! with that library. Nothing in the web either. Shouldn't it say LogiLDA.dll ?

LogiLDA.dll is part of the LogiTech download agent and can safely be disabled/removed.

- Launch the Taskmanager.
- Under TAB Startup search for LogiLDA
- Right mouse button an disable.

- Open the commandprompt and type Regedit
- Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
- Find the entry Logitech Download Assistant
- Select it, right mouse button and Remove.
