unable to scan - Error 20 Not a directory
« on: October 05, 2014, 03:04:46 PM »
Hello,
I did a full system scan as I'm currently getting tons of pop-up windows in all browsers (I have a Macbook Pro).
The scan showed one infection in an old email, which could then be deleted.
It also showed that it was unable to scan 39 files (according to what I've been reading about this in this forum, this is nothing to worry about).
When I look at the files that could not be scanned, I recognize a lot of them and know they're fine, however, there are 3 files where Avast states: "error 20 not a directory" and I am suspicious about those.
The full path for these files given by avast is:

/dev/fd/67
/dev/fd/72
/dev/fd/73

Does anyone know what this error message is about and what these files could be?
Thanks!
B
