Windows 10 Start Menu promo for Microsoft Edge can't be disabled
https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/microsoft/windows-10-start-menu-promo-for-microsoft-edge-cant-be-disabled/

When are marketers going to realise that ramming ads/promotions down peoples throats has a negative effect also, especially when there is no way to stop it.

Hell Edge is installed by default, if people want/ed to use it they already would.  Pushing what is already installed, is free, in a product (Windows) that the user has paid for (the OS) stinks even more.
Users will only see the message/AD if they still have the old Edge version installed, on security merits and web compliance the new Edge should be installed by default imo

I won't see the ad as I still haven't got Windows 10 2004.
So far I see nothing as the bloody MS nonsense continues at a pace, NOT.

I just get the Your device isn't quite ready yet - but it doesn't tell you why (I had this hassle before with 1903 or 1909).  The message 'There's nothing that you need to do at this time.'  How the hell can something be wrong 'your device not yet ready' yet 'you don't need to do anything'.

I did do something though, I checked the list of possible issues and as far as I'm aware I don't fall into any of those categories and having checked my settings, etc. adjusted if necessary, Nada, great job Microsoft NOT, plonkers.

I checked through my systems to see if they contained any of the reported problems caused by the Core Isolation - Memory Integrity feature being enabled (it was disabled) and old Nvidia graphics drivers (below 358), the update still wasn't shown so I just ran the Update Now tab from the Microsoft download page and it has successfully installed on the 3 systems I've done so far 8)

Now to remove Cortana from them all :)

My Memory Integrity feature is also Off,  I also checked for an Nvidia Graphics driver update and it reported it up to date - my Nvidia Graphics driver is version 381.99, so above that of yours.

Of course there is the Intel CPU on chip graphics, Intel (R) HD Graphics 620. But I see nothing related to a minimum CPU or on-chip graphics.

I don't know anything about the Nvidia graph driver update so now I'm scared to install the feature update

1.  Do you even have an Nvidia Graphics card ?

2.  You wouldn't have to worry about Nvidia graphics drivers if you are being offered the Windows 10 Feature Update as part of the update process checks for compatibility checks various things, the Nvidia Graphics card driver information is just one of them

3.  Of course MS have screwed up in the past, so there are no guarantees in life other than death and taxes.

My Nvidia driver is 391.35, as long as not below 358 there shouldn't be an issue.

When 2004 installed it reverted my Nvidia driver back to an earlier version, not sure why they don't have the latest driver for my card on their database which was released more than a year and a half ago :-\

Reinstalled the latest driver again from https://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us and all good :)

I don't know
If you don't know then "don't touch", Windows will eventually install the update when it's ready.

Should I install this driver
Well I have no idea what card you have installed as that would decide which driver is is the latest compatible version for your system.

As mentioned previously...if you don't know then don't touch.
