So I use Calendar every day. Today I tried to use Calendar and get a notice stating "App can't be opened." "See Windows Store for info on Calendar". Go to Windows Store and first thing I see is the App Calendar with a link that says "Reinstall"  ??? ....Well I never uninstalled it, as said I use it everyday.
Here's the kicker the only thing that has entered my system in the last day is a 08/27 21H1 update KB4023057 that could account for this unexpected occurrence.
Anyone else experience anything similar??
Have you tried to uninstall that update to see if it fixes the problem?

Thanks Bob but I simply went to Windows Store and Reinstalled the Mail/Calendar App so no need to Uninstall update.
I just thought I'd check to see if anyone else has had their Mail/Calendar App affected by a Win 10 update.
Very strange indeed.

I only have one Windows 10 system left. The other three are all running Windows 11.
That Windows 10 is also the only system that doesn't have an SSD drive so it's slow.
I also default to Google's calendar so haven't really check to see if I have a problem with that app.
If I do, I'll let you know the next time I boot that system. :)

Microsoft is force installing PC Health Check in Windows 10
https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/microsoft/microsoft-is-force-installing-pc-health-check-in-windows-10/

Devious bar-stewards, its bad enough that WU checks compatibility for Win11 in the regular Windows Updates (it showed my system wasn't compatible, but wanted to do other checks, denied) on my last patch Tuesday updates.

Windows 10 is a security disaster waiting to happen. How will Microsoft clean up its mess?
When Windows 10 hits its end-of-support date in 2025, hundreds of millions of PC owners will have four options, none of them good.

Is this really going to be the same as XP, Win7, etc. etc. they were given short end of life only to have various extensions, ways around this.  People and Enterprise customers are averse to change, I can't see that changing any time soon.  I wonder just how many are still using XP :)

As of Sept. 2020, 25 Million were still actively using Windows XP.

Thanks, proves the point, MS might move on but people might not be able too for very many reasons.  I don't think that article helps more doom mongering than helpful.

When I post a helpful video, it receives half the viewers that a breach or cyber attack doom and gloom video receives.
The only advice I can offer is to always hide good news in a doom and gloom headline. :)
