After reading about it, I might skip this new build. In fact, I may just delete the partition and drop out of the testing. I hardly ever boot into it anyway.

You were never forced to install it in the first place. :) I personally like to know what's coming down the pike. :)
Keeping up with Windows 10 is one way of doing that.

First for Windows 8.1 users and then for Windows 7 users, the company announced Wednesday.

You will have one year from the official release date of Windows 10 to convert your Windows 8 and Windows 7 free of charge.
The conversion or upgrade will first be made available for the Windows 8 platform and then followed for those using Windows 7.

Got a very excellent news for all of you. Windows 10 will be offered as a FREE UPGRADE to all users with Windows 7,8, and 8.1. It will be offered for free only for 1 year only. More details here http://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2015/01/windows-10-free-for-all-windows-8-1-and-windows-7-users-for-first-year/

I hope Avast will be reading this and I know Avast Team will be fully prepared for the upgrade so Avast! Antivirus will be compatible for Windows 10.

Thanks to Microsoft for doing this for the very 1st time  :)
