This is just one of the changes in the latest release:

I didn't see that part in 10061. Where is it?

I don't like that the taskbar is black and the only way to change it is not that easy. Right clicking the desktop and choosing Personalize gives you all the options for changing colors but they're broken and don't do anything. You have to go through the Settings app and there you only find preset colors that are not customizeable.

They claim that their Start Menu is resizeable. It isn't in the way one would expect. There is a two headed arrow in the upper right corner but you can not use it to drag the menu to a size you want. You just click it and the menu goes full screen. Those are the options, default size or full screen. This is not acceptable but then I use Classic Shell.

Even Classic Shell is broken in 10061 in that if you choose to show the Metro apps in the menu, they don't show up. There is text that says Apps but clicking on it does nothing. Even the Apps folder in All Programs does not open. I reported this to Classic Shell and they confirmed that it is broken in 10061 but they won't fix anything until a closer to release build of Win 10 is offered.

Yeah, I found it. It's at the bottom of the Notifications window when you click the icon in the system tray.

Its not time consuming, well on my internet sadly yes, but the last try to update failed and after that i didnt get the new build as update again.
Soi had to restore a 1 month old backup, remove junk and broken programs, clean up the system, totally i removed 60 GB and then
get to a LAN Cable and download the build again.

Annoying.

And i do not run any AV right now, i will reinstall Avast when the update is done, the version after the backup was outdated

It takes about 45 minutes for a new build to be downloaded and installed for me and I'm on a 60meg cable connection.

It isn't the download that takes the time, it's the actual installation that takes a while to complete.

Free Windows 10 is not an upgrade … it's Marketing

http://www.computerworld.com/article/2914993/microsoft-windows/free-windows-10-is-inoti-an-upgrade-its-marketing.html
All that means is a different way that Microsoft can treat the free upgrade when it comes to filing their expense in their taxes.
For the consumer it changes nothing. If you're using Windows 7, and up, you can get a free upgrade to Windows 10 provided you
upgrade within one year from the release of Windows 10.

It's marketing for Microsoft in terms of how revenue is reported. For the end user, Windows 10 is a significant upgrade, especially from 7.
