Yes, if it can run 8.1, or even 7, it will be fine with 10.

A slight correction:
I have a Dell Mini that's running Windows 8.1 but can't run Windows 10 because it only has 1 gig of ram and can't be upgraded.
Windows 10 min Ram requirement is 2 gig for 64 bit systems.  :'(

When Windows 10 gets released, the new Browser will be called Windows Edge.

I discovered today when trying to use my Yahoo Fantasy Baseball page in Spartan that I was unable to change my roster for the day or to see current results in action. The site uses Flash for those things and it seems that Spartan does not support it. If Flash support is not enabled in the final version of Edge, that will be a deal breaker for me and I will continue to use IE as my default browser.

Might be the case :) I cant wait for Avast 2016, in case i still need it if i see what MS is doing with Defender

But Microsoft can put these sensors and functions much deeper into Windows than any AV Vendor.

And Microsoft knows malware the best too. I will surely test the new Defender out if i can get a VM up on a new laptop
or spare machine, since my laptop decided to die last weekend............

I'm just instilling it on a computer that used to run Vista but had problems and needed to be formatted.
