For anyone who for what ever reason doesn't want to see this new icon in the system tray or,
doesn't want to update to windows 10 for Free, it's simple:
You will need to uninstall the Windows Update KB3035583 and that should get rid of the icon, alternatively you can simply hide the icon too.

Thanks for the confirmation bob3160. I uninstalled the KB3035583 and I hide it. I also uninstalled and hide the KB2952664. Is it ok, if I unhide KB2952664 and install it again? Will that affect my laptop in anyway?

Yeah I have read his comment. Yesterday night that Windows 10 offer came out and only 3 of my bluetooth devices will or may have some issues and one of them will not work and will lose audio. I then ran the HP Support Assistant and I authorized the technician to gain access on my laptop i.e. remote assistance so he can see what's in my laptop and he also saw the windows 10 offer and the 3 devices list. He suggested that I don't install Windows 10 and said that when Windows 10 comes out I will get the full version of the test version of Windows 10. He also told me and I am also aware that I can download updates to my devices and my softwares via HP drivers download website that is specially designed for my laptop. HP doesn't recommend upgrade/downgrade especially upgrade to windows 10 as my laptop is shipped with Windows 7. HP said that they will provide updates once Windows 10 comes out, but recommended me not to install Windows 10.

I have decided not to unhide and not to install this update (KB2952664). Even though mainstream support has ended and is on extended support till January 14, 2020, I will just keep with Windows 7 and make sure it's always updated. It's been a pleasure and an honor to get to know Windows 10. In the future I will buy a new laptop with Windows 10 or a later version which Microsoft will release.

Thanks very much for all of your help and assistance about this topic  :)

Currently no Manufacturer recommends updating to Windows 10 since it hasn't been released.
Personally I think that not taking advantage of a free upgrade to Windows 10 is foolish but, it's your computer.
All of my computers from various manufacturers will be updated just as soon as I have the time to do the upgrade
after Windows 10 becomes available on July 29, 2015.

I don't agree with Bob here :)

You have one year the time to take advantage of the free upgrade to Windows 10. So there is no need to upgrade immediately.
My advise : If you want to upgrade, it doesn't hurt to wait. And at least make an image backup from your current installation before you upgrade.

This is true. Even though I did reserve and will upgrade asap, I will do an image backup of my system before allowing the Win 10 installation.

Since I'm already beta testing, I know what I'm getting into long before the final release. I create regular image backups and hopefully everyone else also does.
The creation of an Image backup needs to be a part of your regular security plan. It is probably more important than the use of all those security programs running on your system.
There is no such thing as perfect protection and the image backup is one way to recoup if your system becomes infected or you suffer from a hardware failure.
My reply was also directed at someone who decided NOT to upgrade to Windows 10 but stay with windows 7. :) (I'm already running Windows 8.1 and have used Windows 8 since early beta days.)

How to remove the “Get Windows 10” Icon from your System Tray

You should also hide update KB3035583 so it doesn't reinstall the next time you update.
