The Command Prompt is not found in Accessories but rather in the Windows System folder.
Right click the Windows icon in taskbar...Command Prompt is right there in the list for quick access :)
There is a much easier way to reach the elevated command prompt and it's been that way since Windows 8.
Right click here (or use the Windows & X key)

And select it:

I think that's what this explained. :)

It installs when you give it permission to install.

Not if you have the button replaced by Classic Shell. Then you have to use Win+X
What's the point of Classic Shell now that a proper start menu is included in 10?
I wouldn't call it "proper". It's still not good enough for me.

I still use Classic Shell as for me, the new W10 menu (while better) still doesn't show me the love.
I like the original older menu options better. :-)

Your choice, I can put everything and anything on the new start panel now so it functions just as well as Win7 imo.

It's the same as your Pharmacy telling you your prescription is ready. Till you pick it up, you don't have it.
It's up to you to actually upgrade or, simply leave Windows 8.1 on your system.

What I had noticed Bob, I went to check for windows update like Security fixes and such, and the thing saying "Downloading windows 10" always appeared.. I choose to hide windows 10 home update and it still done it... There has to be something else i can do to prevent it..

You can click on the Show all Updates link and see if there are any updated due for Windows 8.1
I can't show screenshots I no longer have a Windows 8.1 computer.

Can you put your browser Favorites/bookmarks there and have them show as a menu? No, you can't and that's the thing I use a start menu for 90% of the time.  It's also a big reason why IE is my default browser. Only it's favorites will be saved to that same menu. All my most used things are icons on my desktop.

This as most items are users choice.
I hardly ever use the start menu. Desktop shortcuts get me to almost everything I need and the Windows &X key take care of the rest along with what's available in the task bar and sys tray..
It's all in what you get used too.
Someone else will probably have a different way method of reaching the tools and programs they need.

Just installed AIS with Windows 10 for the first time after using Windows 7 forever. The first thing I noticed was the increase in browsing speed over 7.  I ran it (W10) for 24 hours with Norton Security Backup and it was slower than Avast, which was not the case with W7. Just initial testing but impressed so far with Avast.....my computer, like Bob & me, is pretty old and crusty!  ;)
