I just got a notification that my computer is ready  to upgrade to win 10 but after reading what it said on the link mchain posted I'm kind of leery about upgrading.

When I go to windows update it shows upgrade to win 10.

Had I known my husband was going to Best Buy yesterday I would have told him to buy a couple flash drives.

Completely Uninstall Pre-Installed Apps From Windows 10 using PowerShell Commands

Remember to make a system image beforehand in case you don't like the change or just change your mind :)

These scripts work as I've tested them personally.

I've spent over an hour reading about win 10 and there are a lot of things I don't like so I won't be installing it anytime soon.

I wouldn't recommend either of these two procedures to the average computer user. :)

If you had spent that much time reading about your current OS, you wouldn't have installed it either. :)
In the end, you determine what you OS looks and acts like since you change it to your liking. :)

I didn't read anything about win 7, win 8 or win 8.1.

I'll have my neighbor make a system image for me, then I might try it.
