Just installed Windows 10 an everything works apart from Avast.Contacted helpdesk, they had a look at my PC and said that I should have prepared the PC before installing 10.It appears I had some bits and pieces of Avast that should or shouldn't be there for Windows 10 - how the hell I was supposed to know this is beyond me, and if I wanted it fixed I had to go to second level support which I would have to pay for.Avast didn't warn me that Windows 10 may be a problem. The only time I receive any communication from this company is when they want to renew my license. How come every other software supplier has successfully updated their products to work with Windows 10 and Avast hasn't.Needless to say as Avast don't appear to be a professional business, it's goodbye to Avast and hello to a different product.

There are 3 options available I asked her if she selected the right bits to save and she said she didn't know anything about bits. I'm glad I didn't upgrade because just like her I don't know what bits are. All I know is 32 and 64 bits. What are the three options?
Had she chosen to keep program and personal files would she not have lost her pictures?

I wonder if you all know about the change in Microsoft's privacy statement, I saw this in an article I read, http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/microsoft/windows/11782807/windows-10-privacy.html?ref=yfp.
