Windows app store has major problems insider forum is full of this :)

Thanks Martin, I was afraid of that. :-\
Any word about whether or not it will eventually process??
Would there be any other way to upgrade directly/not through the App Store?

Microsoft should be sewed for this!!!

At this point, it hasn't been proven that this is a Microsoft problem.
The problem could very well be the dummy behind the keyboard. :)

http://www.ghacks.net/2015/10/15/windows-users-report-windows-10-upgrades-are-enforced-on-their-systems/

I think it is MS that are stitching (sewed) us up not the other way round.
Quote from: tfd.com/sewed
v. sewed, sewn (sōn) or sewed, sew·ing, sews
v.tr.
1. To make, repair, or fasten by stitching, as with a needle and thread or a sewing machine: sew a dress; sew on a button.
2. To furnish with stitches for the purpose of closing, fastening, or attaching: sew an incision closed.

I think you would rather MS were sued.

It's always very easy to make an accusation. It's an entirely different thing to prove it.
After more than 10 years on this forum, I can't even begin to count how many times Avast has been accused of being the culprit.
Most of the time, it was the user and many times it was another program that they forgot was running in the background.
Mudslinging is easy. Making it stick is another matter. :)

I upgraded my home version on my Dell to the Pro version some time ago but didn't have your problems.

Thanks Bob.
But what I'm trying to do on the machine is 'Purchase' the W10 Pro UPGRADE from W10 Home directly from the store page I showed on the Screenshot I supplied (Post# 867). Not fixing pending downloads.
The process won't get any further then clicking on the BUY/Upgrade amount of 139.00. After that the process hangs.
After Googling, The Tech forum I visited is inundated with many, many such posts with the same error: "Give it another try, Something went wrong" as Martin already posted.
I was hoping one of the W10 experts here might have seen something I have not :)

I had the basic version and used the following method to upgrade to Pro:
Go to Windows Activation > Go To Store > and Upgrade to Windows 10 Pro

I've seen nothing like that on my Win 7 laptop. I did however remove the update that installed the GWX program and then hid it when it showed up again.

Go to Windows Activation > Go To Store > and Upgrade to Windows 10 Pro

That's what I've been doing on the Machine for a week......everyday :-\

If you review the screenshot(Post #867) you can see that's where I'm at when the error appears on top

Screenshot>>>>Here's the Store before I click on the amount. Once I click on amount to begin the "Purchase" process, then the error appears on top as 867 shows;
