Since you don't give any details see if the following will help you:

I gave the details.

Every time it did the same thing. It got all the way to the part where it says "Your PC will now reboot in a few moments", and then goes back to the desktop with a small window saying "Something happened, Windows 10 installation has failed".
There are no other details.  Those web pages are no help either. The first one is about Windows Update not working and that's not the problem. It works fine and installs updates I actually see just fine. I have yet to see this Fall Update to 10586 and it's now noon on Saturday, Nov14. The second site I have already seen and tried everything there. None of it works. I have the full 1511 ISO but that does not work either. I guess I'm just stuck with 10240 unless and until I see the update and it works. I'm not optimistic it will. My only other option would be to wipe everything and do a clean install with the 1511 ISO burned to a disk. I do have a system image I could recover my files from but almost all of my programs and games would have to be reinstalled and since I have over 350gb of stuff on here, that would take ages.

Today I burned the full 1511-10586 ISO to a disk, went into msconfig and disabled all services but MS ones, uninstalled panda and Classic Shell, turned off all startup entries, rebooted and then ran setup from the disk. It turned out the exact same way. It did not install.

Is anyone here having the following problems after installing the new Windows update?

1. Cannot open Windows Store app.
2. Cannot open weather app that comes with W10.
3. Avast Safezone browser tile in start menu loses graphic.

These were fine before the update.

Thanks

Does W10 have the option to switch user without logging off as I do with W7, and cannot do in W8?

Yes it does as you can see from the picture:

I get to this screen by using the short cut key combination of:
CTRL ALT DEL

Well, it's a week to the day since the update came out and I still haven't seen it in Windows Update.

I have a similar issue in recent past and the problem was with Windows Update.
Some bat files available in internet to correct Windows Update did the trick for me.
