Everyone that wants to go back to Win 8.1 after installing Win 10 can do so within a month time.

And that's the same under Win 7?

I set my new win 10 computer up today and it didn't work so I wanted to return it.  I called Dell, gave them the order number, the service tag number and the person I talked to said he couldn't find the order, told me no order had been placed and I told him since it doesn't show that I received it I won't have to pay for it and he said "that's right Mrs...........

Also this has nothing to do with this topic but I don't have the paid version and I'm seeing this.

See other topic relating to this bug of some users having paid options - this but will in due course be squashed - when this will happen is unknown.

Note: I suggest when posting images that any data in it that may/could be confidential you should obscure. Whilst in this case it may not be a serious issue, it is worth getting into the habit, any personal information unless absolutely required, obscure as in my image example.

As you can see this update did not retain my Theme setting:

It also didn't retain many of the other default settings - Audio, Video, Browser etc.....

I set my new win 10 computer up on Sat., uninstalled McAfee, installed Avast and the other programs I had on my older win 10 computer.  My new one is running really slow and I don't know how to make it run any faster.

I ran a full scan and scanned with MalwareBytes but neither found  anything.

I wouldn't think this slowness has anything to do with Avast.

Aside from what Bob has asked...check how many background apps you have running in Settings - Privacy - Background Apps, you can use the CCleaner uninstall process to remove Apps that you don't require or just disable them, don't uninstall the Store App.

Want to know more about your Laptop Battery ???

This is only a small part of the report available by entering:  powercfg /batteryreport
into a command prompt:

You can retrieve the report by going to the Users folder.
