Does this one differ from other win10 cumulative update we have just done very recently 1709 (OS Build 16299.402) ?

EDIT:  How big is it, as I still haven't regained LAN/WiFi connection for my win10 laptop. I did the last update with my laptop tethered to my mobile phone.

I have just been looking at the redirect page from that link (as I'm using my only system with fast internet connection XP) to try and download offline.  But it is talking about 5GB space on a USB and I'm not even sure what this update is about or necessary, from that page.

The website gives you two options
1. Update Now
2. Download the Media Creation Tool
   This will allow you download the ISO file to do a manual install.
If you want the Windows 10 April 2018 Update NOW, then this is the way to go.
You can also wait till it's given to you as an update via the update function.
That will happen sometime between now and

It just seems strange that this is getting called the April 10 update when we already have the cumulative update released in April.

I actually took a chance on the win10 cumulative update recently 1709 (OS Build 16299.402) using my mobile phone tethered for my win10 laptop.  That worked out at a little under 400MB, fortunately it didn't exceed my monthly data plan.

For me, it took 2 hrs. from start to finish.

On the setting how often Windows should ask for feedback it still says its managed by the Insider Program for me.

On Kernel isolation it says its managed by the administrator for me, after i turned it on and rebootd.

Once you've upgraded to Windows 10 April 2018 release and you're happy,
It's time to do a cleanup:

You have 10 days to go back to your old version. Once you do this, there is no going back.
