That only holds true for the Cumulative Windows 10 Update.
The updates for the Office Products were released on 7/3/2018

Yes, the June Cumulative for Win 10 was released after the other cumulatives were released for June.  They were deployed on June 12th or 13th.

I got mine on July 3rd, much later than June 27th, but that was due to it not being available on Windows Update.  It was possible to get it sooner by going to Microsoft's Update Catalog on or after June 27th, but that fact is not widely known.

It's certainly taking a long time for the updates.

It's certainly taking a long time for the updates.

Mine didn't take too long, I wasn't using WiFi though but a network cable and I didn't have as many updates (no MS Office elements installed.

What I noticed after the reboot, was that the AvastUI was loaded front and centre.  I hope this isn't another stupid idea as I hate stuff loading like this without my knowledge or permission.

Mine were also quite streamlined. Not long at all, also no MS Office stuff.
Didn't notice any odd/different behavior from Avast. Didn't load up center. :)

No problem installing latest updates -- no Microsoft Office portals to update/upgrade, so it really didn't take as long.  Not nearly as long as the problematic security updates from March to May did -- same setup too.  Spectre and Meltdown are still issues that need to be dealt with by Microsoft.

Avast behaved as normal on reboot here.
