Microsoft Re-releases Windows 10 Version 1809 and Windows Server 2019

If you aren't already on Windows 10 v1809, I suggest you create an image backup
before you do the upgrade.

I just got back from my afternoon (getting dark early here) walk and checked for updates after the reboot, but it is saying that I'm up to date.  There is only a very small difference in the build number, otherwise I'm still on Windows 1803 (OS Build 17134.407) the only part that has changed is the figure in bold (presumably these updates) the rest is the same.

All I can think of is they are restricting/balancing updates over a period of time.

As of 10/04/2018, 1809 version was 17763.1.  No issues with upgrade at that time.

November 14th updated to 17763.134 and the security updates were for Flash, MRT.exe, and Cumulative Updates.  Not much time required to update as all updates seemed to be mostly minimal.

The last one for 1803 (17134.320), done on 10/01/2018, which was much larger and took thrice as long to complete as this one did.

Thanks Bob, I'm not in a rush and can wait a while and use the link to use the update assistant (Update Now) if need be.

Mind you I will change the URL slightly form en-us to en-gb :)
I have book marked it for now.
