Is anyone using this ???

It's available as a stand alone in Edge or an add on for Firefox and/or Chrome.

Every day and sometimes 4 times a day it shows at the bottom of my screen "go to settings to activate windows"  I do that and click on trouble shoot and every time I do that I get some kind of error message.  It shows go to the store and upgrade to windows 10 pro and I can't even do that.  This computer is at least 3 years old so I don't know where to find the product key.  When I restart my computer it doesn't show go to settings to activate windows. Now it's showing again.  Can anyone tell me why I keep getting this activation message?  Is this something I should be concerned about?

EDIT  additional info
I bought this computer from Dell so I know it's a genuine copy of windows.

Normally your product key is:
1.  On a label stuck to your system.
2.  If you got a CD/DVD copy of the OS with the system then it could/should be on that.

Outside of that perhaps Dell can help out with information based on your purchase.

I don't know why you should be forced down the route to purchase Windows 10 Pro.  The real problem, issue is activating Windows 10 Home.

Have you tried the Troubleshooting option and if so what were the results ?

I will but since the warrenty has expired don't know whether or not they would help me.  It was activated for several days but not today.

Surely it shouldn't take much to check their records your order and what was supplied.  I would guess that they have to account for the windows licenses that they use on systems.

Restart the computer and see if it still states the copy is genuine.

Now you are at least up and running and Windows is Activated, you might want to find and save your license, product code - Google search https://www.google.com/search?q=how+to+find+product+key+windows+10.

If it applies, you may also want to do this:

My systems are registered in that way.
