If you have 4497932 then you are on Win 10 1903, I got 4497932 and 4495620 after updating to the new 1903 release.

Very cumbersome, long update process and very long time with "setting up personalization settings for: Web Platform customizations.

I only have a few apps and they all remained after the update, no new ones were installed either.

If you have 4497932 then you are on Win 10 1903, I got 4497932 and 4495620 after updating to the new 1903 release.

1903 Installed Cleanly via usb created with Media Creation tool

Decided to reinstall Avast right off the bat, as figured used it for many many many years, and it does provide excellent protection, and finally leaving Defender alone for once--hopefully that lasts, and Ignore all the other forums around the net that say sometimes Avast not needed lol. 

Performance so far great

Tomorrow updating Laptop hopefully from Windows Update over the top, and hopefully that goes smoothly, only a few games on Laptop, and Office 365, not much on that machine, and a little bit of HP programs

Moms Desktop might be a challenge, 5 to 6 years old, hopefully still supported

Overall very happy, Testing gaming performance later on

Well after two cumulative KB updates, I'm still sitting on 1803 (OS Build 17134.799.

The first cumulative update for 1803 (KB4505064) was sitting there awaiting restart, which I did and followed that by another update check and that returned the 2nd cumulative update for 1803 (KB4499183) was downloaded and restarted.  A further manual check for updates reported everything up to date.

Hells bells is this taking forever.

I haven't checked Windows Update yet on the laptop, plan is to check for that machine in morning,  Desktop did manually with usb created with Media Creation tool,  3rd laptop I think i'll wait on lol, as that one may take longer--No ssd on 3rd Desktop, just hard drive, 5-6 years old, hopefully no issues

Who knows why yours is like that I've got three systems in front of me right now and they're all showing the same update KB's I've described.

David, I have a friends system that is doing the exact same thing, I left it as 1803 just to see if and when it would discover 1809 and even after another manual check yesterday it still hasn't found it
Next time I'm there I'll put the new 1903 on his system and skip the whole 1809 mystery, 1903 actually seems to be a more polished product anyway.
