Avast mobile false positive for Dingtone
« on: October 08, 2014, 09:35:01 PM »
Hi

I am the app developer for Dingtone app(https://play.google.com/store/apps/developer?id=Dingtone+Free+International+Calls,+SMS,+Text&hl=en). Recently our customers have complained that Avast mobile has detected our app as malware (Android:SMSreg-BAO [PUP]).  I submitted the false positive through web submission (http://www.avast.com/en-us/contact-us.php?subject=VIRUS-FILE) last Friday. No response and the latest pattern still detected our app as malware. I emailed virus at avast.com this Monday. Still no update. Not sure any other routines available for me to follow up with Avast.

Thanks a lot,

P.W.
