Memory leak running Avast Endpoint Protection 8.0
« on: October 20, 2014, 02:19:42 AM »
Hi

We've got a high availability server running Avast 8.0 on Windows 2003. For the last year we've been having a memory leak on the machine, causing us to need to reboot it every 4-6 weeks. We've recently identified the leak using Poolmon to be SnxN, which identifies as aswSnx.sys, an avast component. We've tried updating to the latest version, which is also on our test server, but it continues to be an issue on the production server, but not on test. SnxN is leaking by about 6Mb per day.

Any idea how we can progress to prevent this issue?

Thanks,
Jim
