Crazy Pop ups from avast

hey guys.. i dont know if im writing on the wrong category but im jst having problems with avast.. it keeps popping up with 51 viruses found on my PC... but when i scan it seems like i dont find those 51 viruses, all i see is that it finds this LNK:Cantix-A [Trj] .. can anybody or somebody help me out with this?.. i really need to work on my thesis and i cant concentrate on what im doing because of this popping happening.. thanks in advance to who ever gives me an advice

Where does avast say those detected files are located?

Seems you may be infected from using a infected USB stick or similar....
