RPC Error

Guys Your help is needed.

We have an issue were RPC logs erros in the event log and avast isn't working. We have tried re-installing but the same applies.

I reinstalled the MDAC and put the latest version of Avast server back on. Same issue still I am afraid.

Here is the log entry:

It's always the same question. Is the avast antivirus service started? If not, can you started?

If this is a Win2K3 server, and the service always starts and then (after a short while) it suddenly dies, try changing the Log On settings for the service. Use the LocalSystem account, that should solve the problem.
