I have the same issue with CPU usage - running constantly at about 50% for about an hour! Sure hope that there's a solution soon.

Yes, enter safe mode and use avast uninstall utility yesterday.

Check this log here and paste content (ngtool.log). Is it still running with high CPU usage?
