Updated - Meyhem followed.

Hi All,

Updated Internet Security today, restarted PC - absolute mayhem followed, the deadly blue screen, constant restarting , crashing.
I finally managed to decipher the deathly blue screen, all I could read was "GWDRV.dll"
Researched this and found it to be related to "Glasswire" a free security monitoring program.
Booted into 'safe' mode - removed "Glasswire", re-installed AIS.
Restarted - all is now well.

So just in case someone else has, possibly, the same issue, I hope the above helps.

Cheers.

I read something along these lines concerning GlassWire.
There seems to be a conflict between avast and GlassWire.
It appears to affect AIS because of the firewall in GlassWire.

Hi,

I'm no techie but had to sort it out as detailed above.
I have been using AIS (updated) for quite a few hours now with no ill effect whatsoever.
Lesson learned there re 'free' software - I'll be a damn site more careful in future!
Cheers
