GrimeFighter "problem scheduling ...."

Hello,
i run a PC with Win7 64 bit. Today i acquired one year grimeFigther license. After i clicked on button optimize my PC i got this warning:

"There was a problem scheduling Grimefighter to start when the system is next restarted"

Any suggestions?

Hi,

What version of Avast are you running please?  If you open Avast --> Settings --> Update under the Program section you will see the version (build) number.

my current version is 2014.9.0.2021, this is also the newest version i can update to.

my virus definitions is 140721-1

Thanks for the info Daniel, I passed to our Dev team.

Could you also try to generate a support package? You can do this by opening Avast, then going to Help, then Feedback, then click Generate Support Package.  You only need to have the log file box checked and then click "generate now"

Please mail me the support package then

afterwards i got an error:

We are sorry, but the package cannot be generated right now, please try it again later.

Error code: 0x3e3

I tried to restart my computer, got the same error

I am running Windows 7......downloaded Grime Fighter on Saturday finally used it today.....my screen went black.....then a little green box was in the upper left hand corner blinking and that went away and the screen stayed black for 1 hour.....I got worried I turned off my pc...and turned it back on now it takes forever to start.  Virus version 140819-0     AVAST version  2014.9.02021      Did I over react? Is this how it is suppose to react by making my screen black?

Hola. Acabo de instalar GrimeFigther. La primera vez que lo quise utilizar cuando reinició y luego de sedar al PC me dice:
"Su configuración de Windows tiene datos que no conseguimos reconocer. Para mayor seguridad, no podemos trabajar en este PC". me pide abortar y no puedo optimizar. El Windows que tengo instalado es el 7 sobre 64 bits.

I'm having the exact same problem I checked the requirements and now it doesn't work. I've emailed 1000000times but no luck. I also renewed my licence for Avast Pro, but I keep getting a message saying my licence is about to expire. I have sent proof of payment but no-one bothers to answer my submissions anymore. This is tantamount to fraud and theft. I've asked for a refund but have been ignored. Really angry and disappointed! :-[ :-[
