I rather doubt you will get even an estimate on a date - given avast's prior history of supporting older versions, 2014 (avast 9.0) isn't in any immediate risk of loosing support, in the form of virus definitions updates.

Currently the last builds of avast 6, 7 and 8 are still supported. Heck even avast 4.8 is still getting VPS updates and that has been on life support for years waiting for someone to throw the switch.

That support is going to be limited though as any program modifications won't be for older versions other than the current release (currently 2015.10.x). So old versions would remain as they where when the new release superseded it.
Windows 10 Home 64bit/ Acer Aspire F15/ Intel Core i5 7200U 2.5GHz, 8GB DDR4 memory, 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD/ avast! free 24.3.6108 (build 24.3.8975.762) UI 1.0.801/ Firefox, uBlock Origin, uMatrix/ MailWasher Pro/ Avast! Mobile Security

Hello Fire! Firstly, I would like to thank you for writing up an appropriate comment regarding the support estimate for the 2014 version of Avast! prior to installing Avast! 2015.

As DavidR mentioned I agree with his comment! It hard to know it's estimate date on support. Best way for getting better protected is by installing the latest and most up-to-date avast! antivirus program. It offers better and greater protection, more new features, better streaming updates, and the list goes on and on... 2015 version got recently released.
