To explain it a little bit...

I resized those icons believe me or not... if you don't believe me, you are free to make screenshots of both versions (one from the earlier reply I made and now this one).

Also I marked few spots inside the on-demand scanner's window. Those points are the ones I had to change (redesign) slightly... I had to reorganize text above those two buttons at the bottom. Also, I had to resize few areas (white area under the icons), and move avast! banner little bit lower on the stage...

Now we have enough room for all 8 providers... is there any other I am not aware of  ;D ?

Cheers !

Thank you RejZoR for you opinion and it makes me very very happy...

Yes, it's not like I ever asked to be paid for this, althoug it would be great if I could find some steady designing job... that would be soooo nice...

I just wanted our wonderful antivirus to look a bit more professional if possible. I didn't say Martin's work isn't good because you all know what I think of Martin. Wonderful guy, friend you can just wish for, and very, very talented designer. My hat always down to that guy.

It's just those icons were looking kinda old fashioned, almost like AVG's design... why not use smoothing feature when we can, so our icons could look much smoother on the edges, not like those old ones...

Cheers !

Sasha, I love your new icons, seems professional (like some newbies complain about avast! graphics from time to time  :P).
The idea of smaller icons are good, showing all of them  8)
Maybe, the best, will be when the user can choose how that could be displayed (Eddy's suggestion) or choose which group of icons will be used  8) (I can imagine that this is not so simple do iimplement...  ;D)

Well, all PNG files are here, ready for use. If Alwil prefer .ICO files I can provide them with those as well.

It's all up to them... nothing strange in using someone else's (other than Alwil) icons, so I'm offering these icons as my present to Alwil. Now it's their turn, to say wheter they like them or not...

Regards !
