having to sign in with PW each time I use icon in task bar

My avast icon in the task bar used to take me straight to Avast. Lately it says partly that if I want to continue , to sign in with PW Slight inconvenience

You always have to login with name/pw for my.avast.com.
If not, everyone would have access to your account.

If you mean for the avast application, you posted in the wrong forum.

If you mean accessing the Account section in the Avast app, just check the Remember me checkbox below login dialog to keep signed in.
