I use a website (maptactic.com) for a video game I play. When I go to the map part of the website, I believe it uses Java for live updating. After updating to Avast FREE 2015 this site stopped loading the live update maps. I know it's Avast as when I disable Avast the website loads fine.
I submitted a trouble ticket to Avast but haven't had any sort of reply. Not even a confirmation of ticket submitted.
While writing this post I've further narrowed down the problem. When HTTPS scanning is enabled, it blocks the java functions on a HTTP website. Go figure.
