OK I have no idea how windows 10 works or what tools are available for it, also Avast is not yet ready for windows 10.  Therein may lie the problem

So, I cannot resolve this issue; should doing a system restore solve it?

Yes and to be honest I would stick with MSES until Avast have a version that works with it

Thank you, it's odd that no antivirus appears to be picking any virus's up. At all. I cannot restart my laptop now, so; start>restart does not work. :-\

Avast may have quarantined something it shouldn't have.  Restore any files that are in the virus chest

It deleted some Windows files, WWAhost.exe and backgroundtransfer.exe or something like that.

It didn'y quarantine anything, just instantly deleted; or terminated.

So the settings are at delete rather than quarantine, did you change them ?

No, i've never touched Avast settings. It has deleted them on its own accord. Is there something wrong with Avast?

Possibly as it is not designed to run in windows 10 tech, there are too many new elements that need to be analysed first
